Recover *old* deleted playlists?

Solved!

Recover *old* deleted playlists?

 Hi,

I'm trying to recover some deleted playlists. However when I viewed the "Recover deleted playlists" page, it only showed my playlists deleted on 2018.

I am sure I have playlists from way back 2015 when I first got my Spotify account, and would like to recover them.

Can anyone else please help? Does Spotify allow you to recover deleted playlists from only the previous year? (If so that would be really disappointing.)

You seem knowledgeable about this so can I ask if you happen to know of a playlist created deletes their playlist, how long can someone keep pulling it up using the spotify code for it? I have been able to access a playlist like this (I have not downloaded or followed the playlist) but now it won’t show up at all on my recently played icons no matter how often I listen to it. It made me wonder if it had actually been deleted by creator, but I can still access it. So would I be able to potentially access it for a full year until their recover period has ended? Without actually knowing if it is really deleted? Thank you!

Hey @Chatcap,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

If a playlist creator deletes their playlist, it should become inaccessible for everyone, unless it's collaborative - in that case, collaborators might still have access to it. If you aren't a collaborator and you still have access, the playlist might not have been deleted.

As for it not showing up on the Home page, try playing it via the big green Play button to see if that does the trick. It's also worth logging out and signing back in to your account twice in a row - this will force a resync that may also help here.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers 🤘
