Redeem code bought online does not work

I bought 6 months premium online to my son.

I did not have his e-mail so I wrote my own address.

I wrote out the gift for him.

He wrote the code and it came up that he had six months premium.

But on his cell phone (Android), it was still that he had Spotify free

When he later checks his Spotify on computer it says that he has Spotify Free.

And when he writes the code again it says that it has already been used.

And it still Spotify Free.

Solved.

Spotify Support came forward.
Somehow it would have come in via the login from Facebook and then it was the wrong login as Premium only appeared there and then was all playlists gone.

Hello and welcome to the community!

 

Just to confirm if your son checks his account does it say Spotify free or premium under subscribtions? A clean reinstallation could perhaps help to.

 It say Spotify free.

We have try  clean reinstallation.

Still the same problem.

If your account is still showing as free then you have not logged into the account you have upgraded. Double check your details, its amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another using your Facebook details. If you can't find your account, don't subscribe again as you might be billed twice, instead get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand.


If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
