My Question or Issue

I have been using my reguilar Spotify account successfully across multiple devices, including my Model S Tesla, for several years without any issue. I recently upgraded to a Spotify Duo account and now I am repeatedly being logged out from my Tesla. Each time I begin a journey in my car I am being asked to log in to Spotify. Not only that but the login fails on multiple attempts with only the rare occassion when it succeeds.

 

I have tried selecting other streaming services and returning to Spotify, as sugggested on other Tesla owner forums, as a potential remedy but this also fails.

 

I rebooted the center console and this succeeded but I do not want to reboot the consoleevery time I need to use Spotify.

 

Additionally, I have premium connectivity with my vehicle and yet I cannot log in to the Tesla Spotify account.

 

If I cannot remedy the situation I feel my only solution is to downgrade my Spotify account to single use once again.

I recommend reaching out to Tesla directly so that they can investigate 🙂

Thanks Maxim, I have but I don't think the problem is with the vehicle but more accurately with Spotify account switching.

I've spoken with someone from Spotify about your issue and was told that it's best for you to reach out to Tesla first. 🙂

The problem was with the vehicle connectivity, my apologies.

Specifically the LTE mobile data connectivity being very poor recently. I reconfigured the vehicle to connect to both my home wifi and a local phone generated hot spot, both worked seemlessly without any connectivity issues.

I have a premium family plan and since getting my new 2023 Tesla Model X in November I am having an issue staying logged into Spotify account.  I have to re-log in at least once a week.  I previously had an older Model X and never had this issue.  Thanks in advance for any support you can provide in resolving this issue.

 

Hello, we have a Tesla Model S with premium connectivity. Since upgrading from 3G to LTE, occasionally signal drops out and we get logged out of Spotify and can’t log back in to the Tesla account without performing a system reboot. The login screen does pop up sometimes so I’d like to try entering the username and password for the car’s account. How can I find that out?
