Spotify not working on iPhone 5

It loads up then tells me that spotify can't work offline and shuts down immediately after that.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

Thanks Peter, i thought about it but a message comes up when I start saying I will loose all its data. Does this mean all my playlists will be lost?

Your playlists themselves are stored remotely by Spotify so they will be fine, but this will remove any offline content you have meaning you would need to resync any offline playlists you have. 

Before doing that it might be worth rebooting your device by holding down the home and lock buttons together until the apple logo appears on screen and see if that makes any difference?

Thanks, tried the reboot and nothing, now spotify just starts to open then shuts down straight away so will try reinstalling.
