Spotify premium gift card not working

Device - Home PC and IPhone 12

Operating System - (iOS 10 IOS 17)

 

My Question or Issue-

Rec'd a $30 gift card for Premium. I go to the Redeem page it says my email is already associated with a different user.  That's my daughter and she bought me my own subscription.  I use incognito browser and I get "Unfortunately this Premium code does not seem to be valid. Try again or contact customer service.

You can redeem a Gift Card here if you're logged into your account. If you're not logged in yet, the site will ask you to log into your account.

 

Here's some additional info regarding redeeming Gift Cards:

  • Make sure you’ve entered the correct characters. E.g. a zero looks like a capital ‘O’, or a capital ‘I’ looks like a one.
  • After 4 attempts, you’ll get an error message. If you do, you can try again after 24 hours.

The ideas you offered didn't work.  I tried the idea on this thread, but I got the same - "Unfortunately this Premium code does not seem to be valid. Try again or contact customer service."  

My main concern now is that I was given a gift of $30 for Spotify and my gift giver wasted her money
