Student Discount

I understand there is a "glitch in the website", and it's conveniently been down for a few weeks now, but my query to support was closed without anything other than an automated response, thanking me for my question.  If my account can't be manually switched to a student discount, I'm going to be forced to cancel my account.  It's one thing to suggest reaching out via email, but it's another to have an unresolved glitch last for weeks and still not be contacted via email.  Please help, I want to continue to use your service.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

 

You need to reply to that automated response directly (even if it's from a no-reply) and it will be sent to the staff.

 

If, once you've done that, you still haven't received a response within 24-48 hours, let me know your case number (#series of numbers), and I'll escalate it to the staff for you.

Hello, I would also like to switch over to the US Student Subscription. I was using a promotion that ran out, and I was charged for $9.99 on March 13. Unfortunately, I did not want to continue the service unless I was paying the student discount. Can I please have somebody help me switch over? The options to switch are not available in my account settings. And is there any way I can get credits back for the automatic full payment?

I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can help you out with this.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.
