Switching from Spotify signup to Facebook signup

Is it possible to switch from spotify signup to Facebook signup? If so, I need instructions. Can't seem to figure out how. Appreciate the advice from step 1 to finish.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

How closely linked to facebook do you want to be? If you just want to connect, you can login as normal, go to Edit>Preferences, then click connect to facebook and follow the steps from there. You will then be able to access all the facebook social features that you would if you signed up with facebook.

If you want to have an account that isn't a username, and want it to be purely facebook, you'll need to create a new account with facebook, then submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can move everything over then delete your old account if you wish.
Once you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

Thanks Anthony. Esp for the quick reply. I gave U kudos as well as marked as a solution. I also would ask before I go about any changes, if signup w/facebook is easier to be found, is it more the common thing? I heard so, and it was suggested. I think your 2nd suggestion is what I was getting at. The first, just connecting to facebook, not sure if that's any change in my profile picture or making me easier accessible. Still figuring this all out so bare with me... I think what I want to achieve in the end is more connections, more visibility and making me easier to find. Someone suggested signing up through facebook instead. I already have a facebook account, FYI. For years.

Hi djpelau, given what you're looking to accomplish, I would recomend Anthony's first suggestion of simply linking your Spotify account to Facebook. You wont need to go through the hassle of contacting support and getting all your details migrated, and you'll get all the perks of having a Facebook account. It's the easiest of the two options for what you're aiming for.

A mi lo qme pasa es al reves, tengo mi Cuenta y mi novia se confundio y en Vez de crearse Una cuenta nueva con facebock Inicio Sesión y Ahora se una Vinculado su facebock a mi Cuenta de spotify. 

Ella ya elimino spotity de su Lista de Aplicaciones de Facebook but Sigue Estando Vinculada y no se como quitarlo.

¡Hola, @felpaman!

Es muy sencillo, sólo necesitas abrir la app de escritorio e ir a: Spotify > Preferencias > Social > Facebook. Allí encontrarás la opción de conectar/desconectar de Facebook.

De todas formas ya lo hemos hecho por ti. Simplemente cierra sesión en todos tus dispositivos y vuelve a entrar en tu cuenta.
