Synching my Spotify to My facebook

So here is the issue/question So 2 years ago i signed up for the free trial through my facebook. and then last year i got spotify premium through an account i created. But now i want combine my current spotify with my facebook so i can find my friends and they can find me. If that makes sense, i don't know if it's possible but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sign into your Facebook account and go to this page:

https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications

If you see Spotify there, you need to delete it from your account.

Then go to this page to connect your Facebook acount to your new Spotify account:

https://www.spotify.com/account/social/facebook/
