Transferring playlists from old to new account and deleting old account

I'm currently on a family plan (old account).

I created a premium student account just today.

I transferred my playlists from my old account to student account.

I want to delete old account because I don't need it and don't want to have two accounts, but will my playlists on my student account also be deleted since it's transferred over from my old account?

Hello stackss10, welcome to the Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out!

Yes, you are able to close your old account, visit this page to do that.

Also, please make sure your playlists are created by your new account.

The playlists from your old account will also be deleted when closing an account.
