Unable to link Google Home

I keep trying to link to my Spotify Premium account while setting up my new Google Home. 

Every time I click Continue on my Android phone once my Spotify account is identified, I just get a blank browser window, with client3.google.com written at the top. Nothing else happens and clearly the accounts do not get linked.

Likewise. Just setup a Spotify family subscription to be able to use this but what do I do now?
