Vodafone Spotify premium offer - Transferring onto existing premium account

Hi - I currently have a spotify premium account, but have just taken out a new mobile contract with Vodafone which offers this free as part of the package.

Vodafone tell me that I have to set up a new user name and cannot 'migrate' my user name (or playlists etc) to the new account.  Ideally I'd like to keep my details the same but activiate the free new account.

You should be able to use your current account on Vodafone.
