Yesterday I bought a code in a store and when I tried to upgrade this was the message I got... I´ve tried atleast 5 times...

I have also bought a $10 gift card. Getting "We are currently not able to redeem this code" when trying to select 1 month of Premium.

Tried couple of times, different browsers...

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Probably the fastest way to get this sorted is to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form, making sure you include the code and they should be able to add it to your account for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi! 
I just bought a giftcard so I can get premium ( I already have Unlimited)  but it doesn't work. Do I have to wait for my other subscription to end before I can redeem this code? 

I also sent an e-mail. Please look into it since I really want to upgrade so I can listen to music while traveling.

I have also tried to Redeem a code that i just purchased but it didnt work. It says "we are currently not able to redeem the code" . Please help! Cant drive without spotify!

@LevyS - Is that an eCard or a store bought gift card? Also, do you already have an active subscription?

My current subscription ins unlimited because I chose the wrong option when I was redeeming a code last month, and today I purchased a $10 gift card on the internet but the code doesn't work, it only shows the "we are currently unable to redeem this code"

That will be the reason why, you can't upgrade from unlimited to premium using a gift card if your unlimited was paid for with a gift card too (since the system can't convert the unlimited days to premium like it can when you paid by card).

 

If you get in touch with the customer services team using this form they might be able to work some magic for you. If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
