Weird user Name After registration with Spotify Web

Hallo Spotify Community,

i Registrated myself with a normal username over Spotify Web like one month Ago. I just noticed that i only can log myself in, when i Use my e-Mail Adress, but not when i use my normal name i registrated with. I just Looked at my profile And it showed me a Weird username consisting of Numbers And symbols And i don‘t know How To change it:(

Change username

It’s currently not possible to change your username, but you do have some options:

• You can connect your account to Facebook to display your Facebook name instead of your Spotify username.
• You can create a new account which will give you the option to name your profile.

My username is just numbers and letters?

As we look to improve the overall Spotify experience, we’re now automatically generating usernames, hence the random letters and numbers.

You don’t need to remember this to log in. You can access your account with your email address and password.

During signup, you can personalize your account by creating a profile name that’s displayed in the app. There’s no limitations to a profile name, so you can choose any name you like 🙂

Note: It's not possible to log in with the profile name.
