I logged on Spotify just a few days ago and I started playing a song and then every 10-15 seconds it said "playback pause because the account is being used somewhere else".
So I immediately logged off and changed my password.
Logged back in and it's the same... I can see a differen't persons name in my top right corner and his face.
I've even found the guy on Facebook.
It's like our accounts are merged somehow. I log with my username and password and open his account.
I can see his playlists and when I delete them and make my own, he just deletes mine and makes his own. It's getting kind of annoying.
We do NOT listen to the same music :I
What is the problem? Did he hack my account because I'm signed up as premium?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Go to Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Social Network > Disconnect from Facebook and that should untie your accounts.
If you want to request those playlists be recovered and someone from Spotify to look into your account, just get in touch using the contact form.

Hi asihall, welome to the Community!
I've had a look at your account and there's no longer a link to any other profiles.
I've ended all active sessions and I'd also suggest changing your password.
If you're still seeing this mystery man in your profile, get in contact here and the team will help out!

Thanks for the reply, my account is not and has never been connected to Facebook. So I can't disconnect it.

Thanks, his face has disappeared from my top right corner but his name is still there.
Let's hope he leaves my account alone and stops filling it with his music 😛
Thanks again!
