What is the up-to-date to unlink from Facebook?

I've seen other posts here dating from about two years ago, but the procedure seems to have changed several times. Can someone explain how to unlink the two? I have a Logitech Squeezebox 3 which needs real login credentials to work with Facebook (using the Triode plugin), and logging in through Facebook doesn't work. I originally registered with Spotify through Facebook, I never registered separately. On my account page, I see no way to unlink the two. At the moment I have a free account, and would like to upgrade, but I need to have this problem fixed first. Many thanks, Paul

Seems I can't even edit my own message...

I wanted to add a note that I found a posting elsewhere on these forums that to unlink, it it simply necessary to create a new account.  This doesn't work because Spotify recognises that my email address is already in use through my Facebook subscription.  

Is there any solution?

You don't need to unlink, you can use your current account. 

If your account was created by Facebook, press the "Set Device Password" option on your online profile:

https://www.spotify.com/account/profile/

Once you have done that, you can use that password and your numerical username shown on your online overview to authenticate without Facebook allowing you to log in on your device:

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/
