Why can't I change my country in my Spotify profile ?

I moved to a new country and I'd like to change the settings but it won't let me when I do.

It doesn't let me click to change it. The dropdown to select the country is blocked.

I'm having the same issue. I moved to the US from Italy and my husband added me to the Premium Duo, but I can't confirm the address because my account is still set in with the ITALY region. As you can see from the screenshot, the region dropdown is blocked.

Hi @fedekp!

In that case you most likely still have an active Premium subscription with your Italian card. Premium users' country settings are determined by the payment method that's being used.

What you need to do here is cancel your subscription and wait for it to expire (you'll see the exact date on your account page). Once you revert to Spotify free, the dropdown menu will become accessible and you'll be able to change your country to the US.

After the country has been updated, you can ask your husband to send you a new invite to the Duo plan.
