Why do we pay 50% more than the Americans and get fewer songs?

£9.99 is not $10. It is closer to $16.

Us Brits are therefore paying a higher membership rate than the Americans simply because you think 10 is a nice round number and because sterling is worth more than a US dollar.

And yet we are always getting songs that we search as "not available in our country" which are available to US users.

Equal pricing has been discussed a lot here on the community and it has always been my opinion a) everyone does it and b) a direct comparison isn't really fair anyways.

Take UK vs US cost, out of that £9.99 you pay, Spotify get ~£8 because of VAT. The US $9.99 has no tax that I am aware off.
