While listening to music why am I suddenly getting ads? This is not what I expected and is very desireable.

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. I'll try to help clear things up.

In the Free version of Spotify, you will hear ads from time to time in between songs. If want to stop getting ads, I'd recommend checking out the Spotify Premium subscription for this and many other features.
