cant log in to spotify app (android)

ive just downloaded the spotify app from amazon

been trying to log in, but it just wont let me. i am currently signed in to the spotify website, so i know my password and username, however every time i try to log in on the app it says "Unable to log in. Either Username or Password is incorrect".

When trying to sign in with Facebook, it says "You've already created an account with this email address".

Is this just another app that doesn't allow people in Crown Dependencies to use its services like much of Google Play?

Do you've tried to reinstall the app ?

This solved the issue in the most cases.

Try to use your e-mail adress in the login screen.

And are you sure that you are in the right country ?

aha! just fiured out the issue, i was using my email address as a login, not the username
