device selection inactive

I am using Spoitfy on mulitple devices and suddonly the device seleciton button is inactive (greyed out).  So I am not able to change music or volume from my other devices.  Please assist, was there a software change?

Hello ringobingham!

You have to turn on the app on devices which you want to use. For example mobile. Open the Spotify app on the mobile phone, than you should see this device in your desktop Spotify app (it should not be grey anymore).

But dont forget, that you have to have a Premium Spotify, if you want to use this function on 100% !
