how to accept invite to premium for family

i already have an account with spotify.  How do I activate my invite to premium family?

Hey @shrinkgurl!

 

Your family member needs to login with their account to join the Spotify Family. For Spotify Family, everyone needs to have their own account. You can read more about Spotify Family here. If there's anything else, just give me a shout! 🙂

Hey, an e-mail will be sent to you when you get invited. The e-mail contains a link with an invite code. Click the green button that says 'Accept invitation' (see image), login to your existing Spotify account to link a family subscription to your account and enjoy Spotify Premium! 🙂

Ok so the email I have on my account is an old email from when I used Facebook. And that's how I signed in to Spotify in the first place. Now since I can't log in to that email how else can I receive the invitation?? So I could actually accept it. Plz need help 😞

Hi there @MichaelDeLeon and welcome to the community!

I'd suggest you ask the familyowner (the one who pays for the subscription) to send you another invitation to an e-mailaddress you do have access to. You can create a new Spotify account and use those credentials to access Spotify.

help it keeps saying: Sorry! You're already a member of this (or another) Family plan. Please click below to switch to the account that you want to join to the Family plan.

the family  member gets invite with code,  but when they try to activate it, the pre populated page  does  not come up  just a spotify login page.

 

tried  resending another invite and tried sending a link  nothing works

Dear Spotify, 

I have upgraded my membership from premium to family. I have send the invitation out to my family members.

The have recieved the invitation. 

But when the click at the "accept invitation" they are directed to the login screen for spotify. 

What should they use to login to their account - they have newer been a member before?

I have a problem

Recently i have a premium family account.

Spotify ask me to enter pos code address.

They gave me 7 days. But im offline during that time & suddenly my premium account back to free acoount.

My brother resend invitation again

But when i try to rejoin the family premium, the spotify cant believe that we are brother & it is rejected. Can anybody help me out?

similar with me. my account and my son and daughter's account have set the sama pos code before 7 days. But at the 7th day, spotify disconnect my child account.

why....???

 

 

i have the exact same question- how can a new family member log in if they have no account? should they create their own account THEN use the password sent to their email from the family account owner?

Yes, everyone on the Spotify Premium for Family plan should have their own account. They can sign up for a Spotify account and after that they can accept the invite and join the Spotify Premium for Family plan. Let me know if you have any questions.

hi, our family has created a spotify account and signed up for the family premium plan. We havent made accounts before and as we go to accept the invite and make an account, it is saying that the emails to sign up or already taken. how are we supposed to get on the plan if we cant make the free account to accept the invite in the first place. This seems to be some type of glitch. please help. thanks.

I obviously log on to Spotify using my own email/password as I'm the administrator. Do the rest of the family log in under my email, or their own email address?  Also, my husband got the email activation code, but when he entered the code nothing happened.....

Everyone should login on their own accounts. Your husband should be able to accept the invite after logging into his own account (or creating one if he hasn't already). Could you let me know if you see any error message? I'd love to take a closer look!

U didn't even answer the question! We know this information. How do we ACCEPT THE INVITE?

I try to use different email. The one that i use for facebook. It works 😊😄
