offline counter doesnt reset

Hello guys,

im a new spotify premium user, and im just loving it.

I use the offline mode quite often to stream music in my car.

Unfortunately, I have a problem with offline mode.

As soon as I go in offline mode on my iphone the countdown timer appears, which shows me the remaining days till i have to go online again (30).

The problem is, the counter doesnt recognize me going online again.

At home Im going online, and the next day I change again into offline mode to stream in my car. But the counter ticks further (29 days remaining) and so on.

Im currently sitting at a remaining 15days before i have to go "online" again.

What can solve this problem? Reinstalling the app on my iphone changed nothing.

Please help.

Hey there @user-removed and welcome to the community!

That is a good question. Could you check in your account page if your Premium runs out in 15 days? if so, it's probably because when you have Premium, you can listen offline to songs for a month before you need to re-subscribe 🙂

It is true, my premium runs out in 15 days, as I have only subscriped for one month. Ok so this can solve my problem thank u.

I want to change my username, I think this is only possible in creating a new account and transfering my playlist over to the new acc, am I right?

If you mean your Spotify username then yes. Here in the community you can change it yourself I believe 🙂
