"This track is not available. Why? I do have premium account.

"This track is not available. Why? I do have premium account.

From one day to another, many of the songs on my latest playbill disappeared on my mobile. When I log on to spotify on my computer the songs are grey and when I try the play them Spotify says "This track is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

I do have a premium account so what can be the problem?

Ughhhhh, I'm having the same problem. I was seriouly considering going to Premium, but not after this weird glitch.

I´m premium... Same problem here...

Ah, finally, 1.0.24.104 seems to have fixed it for me.

Same here thought it was fixed but it isnt... Dezzer time....

I cancelled due to this. Very annoying as I paid 10 dollars a month and this issue keeps me from playing most songs. At least, not ones on my "starred" list.

Same problem here. I reinstalled but no change (I'm on Windows 10). Considering cancelling my Premium subscription, at least until this is fixed.

Did you looked up your Account Settings? I had the same Problem today.

My Country just changed to another in the middle of the subscription.

Country has not changed. Are you sure this solved your problem though?

No I'm not sure, it was just a guess.

My Country Setting will Change on new subscription, so I have to wait and look.

If you have this problem you might want to check out your firewall settings. After opening up Spotify today the Windows Firewall prompt came up, and I made sure to "Allow Access". This solved it for me. Don't know why the firewall rules changed in the first place, but glad to find the solution anyhow.

Hey

i checked the Firewall, but everything from Spotify is allowed.

For me it was the Country Setting thing. Spotify changed it back in my Original Country and i can listen to the Tracks again 🙂

The problem came back, so not sure if it's a firewall issue. My country is correct too. I'm totally clueless now!

I did this and it worked once.  When I logged in the next time, back to the same error.  😞

The problem came back.

Installing an older version fixed it for me:

Every single song I try to play gives the "this track is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." error.
All my other devices work fine and can play the songs I can't on my laptop.
I've completely uninstalled (cache and all), restarted and installed the newest version several times to no avail.

I'm thinking it's the newest version that is the problem.

Update: Yep, installed an older version and it works perfectly. for now...

I'll check the current version in a month or so.

i tried this on my pc but ive never had a problem with this just my ONKYO reciever ,this is where i get the problem most songs it says track not avialable ..but if i run my amp through the app on my smart phone spotify runs sweet.. i flew my amp to Auckland the other week to get it looked at thinking its a softwhere problem, but spotify worked fine for the techs. so it has to be a network problem
