Update: It looks like this was resolved today. If you still experience an issue redeeming a code, please let us know by going here.

It looks like there is an issue for some people redeeming their prepaid Spotify cards.

 

We're looking into this and hope to have it resolved soon.

 

In the mean time, please reply in one of the below threads if you want to let us know that you are also epxeriencing this issue.

Bought my card yesterday(friday). When trying to redeem it says: Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area... According to spotify im still using spotify free... whats wrong??

I get the same message when I try to redeem my code ("Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area") and I have filled in the contact form. I got an email back almost instantly from Spotify saying that my e-mail had been recieved and that I should check out the Spotify Community and/or this section. My question is: is it this message that I am supposed to reply to with the same message I started out with?

Reply directly to that message, your query will then be sent to a customer services agent who will be able to assist you.

When i first bought my card and were about to redeem it it said "this code is invaild" and a week after i saw that i missed a number and now when i typed in the whole pin code it said  "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area

 

can someone help me?

When would you fix it?

3 day ago a bought a prepaid card and i paid 10 euro but when i enter the code i doesn't work want can i do?

Yesterday I bought this gift card for 600kr in Sweden you know. And when I type the code into this "Redeem a code" it doesn't work. 

This **bleep** comes up : Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area

And this is pissing me off!!

With a large company like Spotify, I think you should be able to put in extra staff on the weekend and solve the problem? I've been waiting for almost a week, and if you don't fix the problem soon, you can be assured that I will not buy Spotify more.

I know this is a very annoying problem!

Definitely a worldwide issue to 😞

 

I am sure however that the staff are doing their upmost to fix it as soon as possible.

I received an e-mail with the advice to try it again, and so I did, with succes! 🙂
