reset password not going to my email address

reset password not going to my email address

It has been a while since I have used my spotify. I normally login using facebook and it will not connect. Tried resetting my password on the initial login directly into spotify but once again does not appear in my email? any advice? thank you in advance.

That's not cool! As you've created your account with Facebook, you should login with that. What's happening when you try to login with Facebook? Do you see any error messages? Let me know! 🙂

Great and thanks for the reply. Below is what shows up when I try to log in using Facebook. Spotify is registered as a trusted site. when I provide my email address to reset my password which is accepted the link never arrives in the provided email address

Having trouble logging in to Spotify?
You must have an existing Facebook-connected Spotify account to use the "Login with Facebook" button.
If you have a Facebook-connected Spotify account, you can also login using your Facebook email address and password as your Spotify username and password. (These won't be stored.)
Internet Explorer 11 users: to use the "Login with Facebook" button, add https://login.spotify.com to the Trusted Sites security zone.
Advanced users: in order to use the "Login with Facebook" button, ensure that login.spotilocal.com resolves to 127.0.0.1. Network security protections might interfere with this.

Alright, thanks for the info! 🙂 Are you on a work computer or connected through a VPN, proxy or work connection? Also, if you have any firewall or anti-virus that might interfere, could you turn it off for a second? Let me know how it goes! 🙂
