Family Plan, same address, still not allowed in?

Hey guys, 

New to the community straight from Mexico. 

I've been in the same Family plan with my mother since I beleive 2015 in Mexico City, and we've been using the Family Plan since, but now we've moved to Cancun, (still same country) and I have started to have problems with the Family Plan. We are currently using a Paypal account with an American card, because we have a home in the U.S, and we rather pay in USD. we both have our accounts linked to facebook, with the corresponding address from the US, I just want to point out, this wasn't a problem since 2015 while we lived in Mexico City, never was, for about 2 years.

Now in Cancun I got asked to verify the address and lo and behold I was set as wrong, and my account has now gone to free account. I've tried to update in Facebook my account address to match to my mothers Family plan, up to the zip code and even the periods, but still, it says it cannot verify we live in the same household. 

She lives in Cancun with me, and is paying with an American card with an American address, my account is set for US and my zip code is set for US, but I still cannot make it work. 

I would like to note, I did make a new account, without the Facebook linked and it worked fine and it let me get into spotify premium without a problem.

Many thanks if I could get an answer, and yes I understand that if I'm in Mexico I should use a Mexican paypal account, but like I've said this hasn't been a problem since 2015. And yes, although we live in Cancun and not in said American address, it shouldn't work because of IP, but, since 2015, it's worked like a charm. I have emailed the Spotify team about my problem, but I've yet to hear anything from them.
