uploading local files to my music

hi, ive been trying to upload some of my music to spotify, however my pc is connected directly using cable instead of wifi connection, however my iphone is connected to the same internet, just that one is on cable, one is on wifi, this is causing my iphone not able to download and sync the songs i've uploaded. any help please ?

Can you try to make you phone a hotspot via USB to your desktop? The devices need to be connected to network under the same method, wifi.
