Album Artwork Rounded Corners not Properly Rendered

A recent update has caused a rendering issue of the album artwork displayed in the Spotify app on Android Automotive in the Polestar 2. Album artwork now appears rounded (when it should have sharp corners) revealing a white background at the rounded corners. I've included images of the artifact below.

Yes, this totally ruins the homescreen, I agree. This should be fixed, please!!

We've passed this info on to the right team to be looked into. It'd be helpful if you could send over the exact Spotify version you're using as well, and @Deviser let us know if you're seeing this in the same car model.

@Eni Yes, same problem in same model (Polestar 2). Because of the interface design, this looks bad in the Home Screen.

Please see the pictures attached where I also have the same problem. I have included the Spotify version (5.2.1.720)

for the car app (Car runs on Android Automotive, so this is the original Spotify app running in the car)

me too, seems to be an issue for all polestars which is roughly 200,000 users if all using the Spotify app. is there an update on fixing this bug?

It seems the app was updated, and the corner radius was changed. It improved, but did not fully resolved the issue. I took some pictures. We're almost there to get this solved!
