[Android] Downloaded Music Will Not Play

I have Spotify Premium Student for listening to music offline and I have my entire library of about 700 songs downloaded and stored on my SD card. However, when I try to play any of my downloaded music offline, it will load but not play if I am not online. When online, everything is fine. I have tried uninstalling the app, doing a clean install, and even downgrading the app, but nothing has fixed the problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 with Android version 6.0.1 and the most recent Spotify update.
