My Question or Issue

Using Spotify on android TV is overall a very fine experienc, but have got a couple of issues with it;

 

1. Spotify connect is not available if the Spotify app isn't running on the TV. 

Please make Spotify connect a service that is in the background

 

2. When starting the Spotify app on Android TV, I have to select a user before Spotify lets me choose music to play. With only one Spotify profile on my TV, that is a stupid behaviour.

Came here to agree with the second point. It says first time you log in, that you can activate automatic login for this account under account settings. There is no such setting under account settings.
