Android auto offline mode (Yes, this again)

I got Spotify premium with the intend of using it offline in android auto, only to find out this is not possible, while it is possible on apple devices.

I don't know if this is a bug or if it's intentional, but this is a HUGE dealbreaker, i have a limited data plan and would like to be able to listen to my downloaded songs/artists in offline mode in android auto.

Please fix this ASAP.

It's an issue with the latest Spotify release. Normally AA and Spotify work more or less seamlessly but since the last update, you cannot use offline mode with Android Auto. Several complaints and tickets logged already by other users.
