App totally unstable on Android 4.4.2

I have been using Spotify on Android 4.4.2 without incident until recently when the app abruptly became unstable. I receive an "Unfortunately, Spotify has stopped" message when trying to open the app. I have tried a clean install with no luck. Amy help would be greatly appreciated.
