Audio effects affecting other music apps

I don't know how I managed to stumble upon it, but I was listening to Pandora while messing around with Spotify's audio effects and noticed that it would adjust the sound of the music playing through Pandora. Does anyone know if that's supposed to happen or is it a bug?

The Eq just plugs into the inbuilt effects for Android. So changing the settings on one app could change the songs on another.
Please use the search feature before posting a problem/bug/idea.

The equalizer app is general for all music apps on a device, so it affects all
