Automatic mute when having a phone call

Hi,

i am interested if it is possible to automaticly mute Desktop spotify when i am having a phonecall on my android.

Why ? - when i am at work i usually listen to spotify all the time (i have premium) and when i do get a phone call which is a lot i need to manualy pause spotify on my desktop.

BUT somehow on my phone samsung galaxy s4 when i get phone call it automaticly mutes desktop WHICH IS GREAT, but i cannot get it working same way on other phones (colleagues are jealous) 🙂

Hmm, I'm not sure there's an official way of doing this.

If you are somewhat techie I would suggest that it could be done using a combination of Tasker, AutoRemote and EventGhost (the former 2 being Android apps, the latter a PC app).

I would be happy to help you set this up if you wanted, but I always try and suggest having a go frst as this is the best way of learning.

You'll need to open ports 1818 for EventGhost and possibly others for the AutoRemote listener in Chrome.
