My Question or Issue

My bass seems to be turning off and on at random times only when I use my Android phone with bluetooth in my car. It does not happen when I use my iPhone. 

 

I looked around and saw that it had to do with the equalizer but Spotify Free does not have an Equalizer setting. Am I missing something or do I really just need to upgrade for this issue to go away.
