My Question or Issue

My phones been on for an hour and a half. How has spotify been running in the background and using power when I have yet to even open the app today? It seems a bit ridiculous for an app to use 2% of power in an hour that I haven't even opened. It may not seem like much but it was right behind screen on the list of things things that used battery. Attached is a screenshot.
