My Question or Issue

The bluetooth controls in my vehicle become unresponsive after restarting the car. I need to unlock my phone and re-open the Spotify app and then it will resume playing and controls will work. This was not an issue in earlier versions.

I have already turned off battery optimization.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start car

2. Start Spotify. Begin playing. Wait for phone screen to turn off.

3. Turn car off and immediately turn on again.

4. Spotify will not resume playing. Car bluetooth controls are unresponsive.

5. Manually unlock phone and make sure Spotify is open on the screen (not just in notification area).

6. Music will now resume.
