Bug : Android Lock Screen - Cast stops and Spotify plays at phone

I am using Cast function to play music at my receiver. All works fine until my android phone gets locked. Once I press Spotifys next button on lock screen, Casted music will stop at receiver and music continues playing locally at phone - which is unwanted behaviour.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

We'd recommend you run a clean reinstall of the Spotify app, following the exact steps from this Article. 

Also make sure that no Battery optimization is enabled for Spotify. This could be causing the app to pause once the screen is locked.
