Can't connect to Spotify with my Suunto 7 watch

Hello,
I can no longer connect my Suunto 7 watch to Spotify.
I either get an error message telling me to check my network (even though all apps are working) or the connection screen keeps repeating.

I can no longer connect my Suunto 7 watch to Spotify.
I either get an error message telling me to check my network (even though all apps are working) I'm trying to link my account, but the login screen keeps looping.

My watch is on the latest firmware available, Spotify is on 9.0.66.644
Wear OS on 2.45
Does anyone have an idea ?

I ended up uploading you tube music on my suunto 7 and works fine. You can also transfer all your playlists from spotify. Have to pay extra for premium account but could be offset by cancelling spotify. Probably wont be buying another suunto after this experience. Feels a bit like false advertising when i bought the watch.

This will be my eventual outcome also, if this really doesn't get fixed. Amazon Music looks like another alternative. The offline music on my runs is the entire point of owning this watch.

To whom may concern, if you sideload (I used the official android wear ADB) version 9.0.40.386-127404690, it works again.

What about Ticwatch C2+, or in general? Is this also the reason for this issue? The watch suddenly is not compatible anymore??

Thank you for posting in this thread!

As far as checking, both of the devices that you've mentioned use Wear OS and Spotify is supported on such devices (Watch on Wear OS version 2.2 (Android 9) or higher). I recommend having a look at this help article where you'll find more details. 

However, because this thread is specifically for the Suunto 7 watch, in order to be sure, it's best to reach out to your particular devices' manufacturers for further information.

Eso es falso. YT music dejó de ser compatible desde hace un tiempo antes que Spotify. No hagas que la gente pierda el tiempo haciendo el cambio. Nadie va a volver a comprar la basura de Suunto7.
