Can't remove songs from play queue

I downloaded the latest update today and since then I can't edit the queue at all. I can select songs, but the option to remove them is gone. I'm on the free version if it matters.

I'm surprised this option was available to free users as it would give them a way to get around some of the restrictions. Maybe Spotify just decided to plug the loophole?

If i remember correctly it was added in an update early last year on both iOS and Android. It seemed intentional but maybe you're right. It just seems strange that I can still select songs but the option is gone. Edit: It also adds suggested songs to the queue if you delete too many. That's another reason I think it was supposed to be there.
