Can't search inside playlist

So I'm using a galaxy s9+ and an OnePlus 3T and they both have this problem where when I want to search inside one of my playlists the song I searched for will show up but then the first song of the playlist gets played when I select the searched song 

 

When I get multiple songs that I searched and I select the second one the second song of the playlist will start playing and it's really aggravating because I can't search songs basically which sucks because my playlist is over 700 songs
