I cannot switch playlists.  When a playlist ends i go to my library and choose another playlist to play but it doesn't work.  Spotify goes back to the song of the playlist I was playing and gets hung up there.  It does not even play that song...it keeps trying as a never ending loop.  I can change the playlist easily by going to my phone but it does not work on Android Auto.

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community and for the provided details!

 

To start, could you let us know if this is happening with downloaded content, or when you're streaming the playlists and if you noticed when it started happening for the first time (if it was after an update for example)?

 

If you've not already done this, I recommend making sure that you're running the newest software versions on the Android Auto, as well as on your phone and to do a reinstall of Spotify as it helps with different performance issues.

 

On another note, it would be great if you could test with a relative's or a friend's device connected to your car's Android Auto to see if the same behavior persists.
