My Question or Issue

I'm trying to control Spotify on my Galaxy 7 watch using voice commands and it says i need to install spotify first. It's already installed on my phone and watch. I've tried clearing the cache, rebooting both devices, and reinstalling the app on both devices and still no luck

I have also tried clearing the cache and reinstalling Bixby voice.

Hi there @MR_LT,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

I checked if this was reported on other forums as well and some of the users experiencing this issue mentioned using the "Open Spotify" command first and then the "Play" one instead of asking Bixby to play something directly. Another workaround mentioned is switching to Google Assistant, but since Bixby is the native one for Samsung devices, it'd be understandable if you'd want to use it instead.

Since you've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps so far and it still doesn't recognize that Spotify is installed on both of your devices, I'd recommend reporting this to the Samsung Support Team so they can have a closer look and give you more info.

Hope this helps.
