Controls for Pause/Next song gone from Notification bar

Hello community, I've tried my best finding a related post, but I'm at my wits end, so here I go.

Recently (about a week ago) the controls to pause or skip to the next song have been gone from my notification bar, both when my phone is locked and when it's unlocked and I try to change my song while using another app.

The only controls it will show me are the button to toggle shuffle and the favourite button.

So far I've tried to solve the issue by:

-Clean cache

-Log out / Back in

-Check for updates

-Uninstall and Reinstall the app

-Restart phone

-Check notification settings of my phone

-Check Battery Saving settings (both the app and my phone's, nothing visible changed from the weeks before where everything was working normally)

Spotify mods want to fault the miui system, when is a problem about self optimization, old Spotify versions fix this, so in the new one is a bug? There's no way it is logic, bad optimizations from the Spotify dev or they are doing it like that to make the people buy iphones LOL

Why is this marked as solved by Spotify when the community is all saying this is a Spotify problem.

Same here. Spotify is the only app without play control buttons displaying on the lock screen.

Stop shuffling problems under the rug and pretending - deliver some actual value for the cost or we leave again.

My Question or Issue

I have been trying everything to fix this issue but to no avail. I have tried enabling every permission and option I can that seems correlated to lock screen or Spotify and still no controls on the Lock Screen like there was on previous android updates and devices I've used. I'm guessing it's a bug at this point with the latest Android updates. I can't provide more than three screenshots but I would show more menus all being turned on and, obviously, I've also shut down my phone and re-logged into Spotify a few times and even reinstalled the app. I will check on this thread every couple days at most.
