Data file keeps growing

Hello ,

On my android i have a few playlist that i can use offline.

The frre space on my SD card was 10 GB.

After one week the free space is 8.9 GB.

Its all spotify data because i only use my sd card for spotify.

I see somtimes that the app download a few songs when they update the playlists with new songs.

They put in new songs but i would believe that sometimes there is also a few songs to delete by the app.

Please help ...

well if some songs are removed from your list they will be in the cache for at least one week i heard somewhere. But im not 100 percent sure 😉

My datafile is still growing ? It cannot that i have to delete every month my datafile because its too big.

WHAT MUST I DO TO GET AN SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM.... EVERY DAY MY FILE GROWS ??? WHY DO SPOTIFY NOT DELETE SOME OLDER SONGS TO MAKE ROOM ON MY SDECARD.....

SORRY FOR MY CAPITAL LETTERS BUT I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT NOBODY HAS NO PROBLEM WITH THIS.. EVERY USER HAS THIS ....

Can you use domething like ES File Expolorer or some other storage analyser to identify which folders on your SD card are largest? If we can identify which folders they are we can try and root-cause the issue.

I dont want a rooted phone because i cannot use most of the apps in Belgium because ROOTED PHONES ARE HERE FORBIDDEN.

I think you mis-understood. When I say root-cause I mean we can drill down to the issue. I'm not talking about rooting your device which I would never recommend to anyone unless they are comfortable doing so.

Sorry i miss understtod because normally i speak Dutch...

But i still think Connect should be deleted because its so annoying .

When i need an remote for my PC i buy one and use my phone for it.

I told here allready that when i use spotiofy app with connect i cannot answer phone calls ? 

Normally the caller appears on the screen and i can answer.

Now Spotify screen stay on and when i touch my screen the call is stopped.

I think i will end my Premium ,account and use the free version again.

There is no connect available and also not the problem its making.
