Disconnecting from car system

Disconnecting from car system

Hi, 

 
When playing via my car entertainment system (Ford Sync) the last couple of days songs just seem to stop mid track, requiring me to press play again. Then a couple of seconds later, stops again. 
 
Plan:  Premium 
 
Device: Samsung Galaxy S10+ running Android version 9 (One UI version 1.1)
 
Things I’ve tried: App updated to current version (8.5.9.737). Logging in and out of app. Re-installed app. Disconnected phone from car and re-connected. Streamed downloaded and none downloaded tracks (same result).

I'm having this issue too.  Did you ever get a resolution?

Thanks for reaching out to us, we'll do our best to help you sort this out as soon as possible!

 

We can recommend that you check the phone's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option.

 

It's also a good idea to check that Spotify has the permissions to run in the background.
