Downloading/installing Spotify failed

galaxy s2 android - spotify has forced a reinstall/upgrade now it hasdownloaded 10% but is apparently frozen - just says installing and has done for a couple of hours. Not imprressed. why was the upgrade forced? this is never good practice. Are your servershung up on download / install volumes? Not impressed.

Any explanations or fix?

This FAQ explains the recent update. The download is from Google Play and there aren't any problems as far as I know. You might want to check your internet connection to make sure it is working correctly.
