Hi, and welcome to the Community!

 

My first suggestion that you check if the payment for the Premium subscription has gone through successfully by heading over to your Account page. Also, you can check your email for a confirmation from Spotify, which should be automatically sent when subscribing for Spotify Premium.

 

If you can see your payment there, I suggest that you try logging out and then logging back in. 

 

But if you're sure you've been charged, but you're still on the free service, you may have accidentally signed up to Premium on a second Spotify account. Try logging in with any details you might have used to create an account. There are a few ways to sign up, e.g. with email, phone number, Apple, or Google. Try logging in with these to find your account.
