Galaxy Note 5: Songs not playing when using other apps

I have the Galaxy Note 5 and when I use the app, songs stop playing the second I go to another app or if my screen goes off. But the second I open the app again the song starts playing again. It also keeps saying I'm offline even if I'm connected to the internet or I am using wi-fi.

Is there any way to fix it?
