Getting ads for location I'm not in

My Question or Issue:
I'm getting ads for a location that I am not in. A similar issue happens when I search on Google, but I can simply allow Google to know my location and it's fixed. Is there any way to fix the location in Spotify so that I get ads based on location? It would really be an issue, but if I'm going to be hearing political ads during almost every single ad break, I'd like them to be from my own city.

Did you maybe use a vpn. If you did, that might be the problem.

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm in Australia and it thinks I'm in a city on the other side of the country, a location I haven't visited for over a year. I'm getting ads for things in the wrong city. I can only work out how to change countries, not cities.

I did an update on the app last week, which is when I started experiencing the issue - so wondering if it's a glitch in the app serving the wrong ads.
